Drifting Pieces 36 -Thoughts from Last Night-

I was hanging out with my best friend last night and we we’re having a long discussion about random stuff. Nothing really in particular until we ran out of things to say and we started watching the screen saver on her laptop. 

She has all her photographs shuffle through as her screen saver. We watched every image. It was surprising. Seeing pictures that go back as far as freshman year of high school.

It was strange. It just doesn’t feel real that so much time has passed and so many things have happened since we first walked our first steps through our high school’s halls.

We laughed at all the memories and then talked about how our lives have changed. How much more we have experienced. How those experiences have shaped us.
